Bitza equestrian sports complex

Design and installation of a television system

Back in the autumn of 2003, OKNO-TV designed and installed a television system for the equestrian sports facility Bitza, built for the 1980 Olympic Games.

OKNO-TV’s specialists installed a television system designed for the broadcast of equestrian sporting events. In the grounds of the sporting complex, they installed systems to provide video coverage of three sporting arenas.

The main equipment area is designed for the capture and mixing of video signals for the large screen display, the video network of the entire complex, to external OB vehicles, and also to professional video recorders. The OKNO-TV engineers also installed special video switching for Outside Broadcast vehicles, allowing two OB’s to simultaneously connect. Our specialists used the most modern cameras and outdoor display screens which at that time had only appeared in Russia.
